need some help with warping....

I'm using a new box (rack system XP media center)....connect looks golden but serious spiking warping....

trace does show %100 packet loss at 2nd hop?? I dont know the program so I dont know if I need to exclude initial hop or if this is issue....

Thing has way to many proccess's running but I dont know what I actually need (been along time). Any help greatly appreciated....

looks like a routor issue ...

Id email your full trace to skuzzy though just to be shure .

Not unusual for QWest.  They seem to come and go quite a bit.  I would point them as this trace and have them take a look (assuming they will).

That aside, are you sure it is lag warp?  If you exhaust a resource in the system, it could manifest itself in the same manner.  Such as running out of video RAM.  Easy to do with AH if you use 1024 or 512 texture sizes, and run with skins enabled, and have AA enabled.  As an example.

Or attempt to preload skins, and you only have 1GB of system RAM (or less).  That would eat it up in a hurry.

I was thinking the same thing, one issue I already found is the onboard sound. I've always either had a seperate card or the nvidia cs onboard. This has the older onboard sound. I bumped it back a setting and its helped. Also bumped texture res back to 512....will bump it to 128 to see if that is also an issue. I have a turtlebeach santacruz around somewhere and will pop it in as soon as I find it:)......
