C'mon, Repeat with me...FOOTBALL (The true football) is GREAT!

He he he he he...who was that guy saying that in soccer games only 4 kicks to goal were seen?

F.C. Barcelona: 7

Athletic de Bilbao: 0

Not counting a wrongly nullified goal by the referee, and 6 hand-to-hand forward vs goalkeeper situations not scored just by bad luck. Barça was winning 6-0 in minute 45

I love this game

Birmingham City - how much money have you spent to be almost in the Premiership?

Trevor Francis is the Kevin Keegan of the Nationwide League.

Snafu, indeed, I like Liverpool a lot...I dont like how the thing goes for them last years, tho

But someday...ohhh some day Manchester United will have to admit again that Liverpool RULES!

(ahem...maybe the day that Beckham finally comes to Barcelona...COME ON DAVID! YOU KNOW YOU ---WANT--- TO PLAY IN THE BARÇA!   )

Touche Dowding

Actually Francis has not spent a lot at all. (He had a lot of players to sell after Barry Fry was sacked),   so after balancing the books he's not done to bad at all. Division 1 is probably the hardest of all the divisions to get out of because the clubs coming down have (If they have managed there finances correctly) loads of money from Sky etc. Horsefield is our most expensive player to date and in comparision with the premiership he cost peanuts, (2M If I remember correctly)

I wish we had the resources of City, but you're right about the Premiership - it does take a lot to get there.

Sheffield Wednesday are now bottom of Division 1. I have the same feeling now as I had last year, when they were bottom of the Premiership.

If we go down, I hope we do a Manchester City  .

BTW, Liverpool fan here, and if we don't win against birmingham, then houllier has gotta go IMO, hes got lucky over the last couple of fixtures i know we're third but we could have had a better season, than we have had, and some of his signings!!!!! My god, my nan could play better than some of those fellas.

glad to see Fowler's supposed transfer is just a big blag after all whoopee press!!!!

Who? Jasper Carrott??     Oh you mean Karen Brady, Yes she is still there.

You had better tell Houllier to get his bags packed then,     Blues haven't exactly had an easy trip to the final, Spurs, Newcastle & Ipswich (All Premiership sides), Liverpool v B'ham are always close matches regardless of the apparent difference in there relative league positions. You won't find it as easy as the papers etc will have you believe

Alittle nurturing lesson:

If I was brought up with Soccer as a televised, highly visable sport on my TV, in my school, in my state, I would probably be a soccer fan.

However, Football, hockey, baseball was...therefore, nurturing had alot to do with my preference and I certainly wouldn't lower my standards to disrespecting someone elses preferences.

With that said...Rock on Soccer fans!

(I used to live with a semi-pro soccer player, Gary Heal, who played for the Tacoma Stars, indoor soccer, which I found extremely entertaining, action all the time!)

Edit: "American Football" that is...
