I will agree with you. I dont think they caused a win or loss, but they are either missing calls, or calling some that in my opinion are just crazy. I have seen this all year with all the teams. So for me at this point this is just another part of the game that I have grown used to.

In the end of it all... The best team wins.

Thats where Buffalo is not taking it well. For the most part all season and during the playoffs the officals have called each game extremely fairly. When games like last night happen we seem to fall apart at the seams.

Yeah I think all the teams will have to adapt, and ajust until this gets sorted out, and the games are called consistently. It does not look like the officials are being officiated. It sucks but IMO thats all they/we can do.

"until this gets sorted out" Not going to be this season.

Are you facing the cameras? Where abouts? ... near a blue-line or centre line? Are you going to take a "Fly Aces High" placard? (get a free 6 month subscription??;) )

Hope you guys have a blast. I will be stuck watching the tube.

xrtoronto, I was born in Pawtucket. Best I remember about 3 hours from you... Used to fish over there with my dad when I was little.

Anyway, Good luck. I hope both teams play hard.

Go Canes!!

Well...after seeing last nights game in Edmonton I now think that these teams could have a chance against the East. A very surprising 3rd period indeed. A very physical game overall too.

Looks like Edmonton will be in the finals.

I expect a win from Sabres tonight at home in Buffalo, but as in any sport you can never count on anything being certain. Looking forward to hearing BJ1's first hand account of the game:aok

Sabres lost 4-0. Team wasnt clicking at all. Might have been all the new faces with the loss of most of our defensmen or    it just wasnt one of our nights.

Hopefully it was just an off night for the Sabres. Nothing last night seemed to go their way. Mind you, the goals that Canes scored were nothing to go "WOW" about either...couple were lucky deflections.

Nash, as soon as Flames tickets go on sale for next year, pick 1 or 2 games, PM me with the dates and shipping info, and I'll buy the tickets.  I can't afford super fancy seats but I won't get the crappiest ones either.
