I should've picked the Avs anyway, looks like Stars lost game one. Who the heck is Wolski (he had 1 goal and two assists for Avalanche)?

In other games... Buffalo leads Philadelphia 1-0 after one period, and Canadiens-Hurricanes is 2-1 after the first period.

Flyers at Sabres tied at 2 at the end of the first OT

GRRRRRREAT game!!

Sabres look real good

But you can't talk about this game and in particular the OT period without mentioning the hit on Umberger. OMG -- this is one of the hardest hits I've seen in any sport. Knocked him out cold; this will be shown on every sports show for the next while. Unbelievable.

BJ1 you must be happy seeing your team doing so well?:aok

Sabers win it 3-2 in double OT.

What a game.  Daniel Briere scored winning goal on what looked like a one-timer.

What a goalie Ryan Miller is.

I'll refrain from being a sore winner. But, the Sabres did play a really good game. Umburger's family is still feeling that hit.

Whoa...that's a hit and a half.  How long 'til he got up?
