I see what you're saying...  But I wouldn't get all that worked up about it...  At least the families (hopefully) will have a film that honors their loved ones and shows "why daddy's a hero" when the kids are older...  Just like there are plenty of "why grandpa's a hero" movies now (some being made before the outcome of WW2 was even a sure thing).

If any good comes out of this then that will be it that the children will have a public record of there parents bravery.

As far as ww2 movies LOL Yeah I watch em but the differense as i see it is our soldiers had gun to fight back with and for the most part knew what they where getting into the poor souls on flight 93 had no idea that day when they woke up that they might die.

And that is something applicable to everybody, everywhere, for every day of their life.

Keep that in mind and, strangely, you'll enjoy life much more (and you'll be less likely to get p!ssed off by petty things... like me right now by my antivirus which doesn't accept the latest update for no frigging valid reason! :furious )

I'll watch it.
I feel like my internal hate meter for those has been waning a little lately, and needs to be replenished.

All i have to do is walk two blocks to the park by my house, and look past the river to where the towers WERE.  It's impossible to forget.

Again its jusy my opinion but i think its imorale to profit from the deaths of these folks.

Ahh but what better way to flip the middle finger at those responcable for those attacks then to turn a profit from it.

They attacked our money.
And we now show them that we can take the best they could do against us and we could find a way to make a profit off of it.

And if we dont make a profit off of it. the Terrorists win.

Like I said if the families are ok with it. and they are.
so am I

Im sure the families are well aware that people are going ot profit from it.

i think part of the problemis the govt's shift of focus from the capture and trial of bin laden to try and bring some kind of closure to this event, to the bringing of democracy to Iraq.  The dramatic feel of the movie is lost with the lack of effort to find and try bin laden.  The movie should be, 'Saddams vast arsenal of WMD's'.

So in other words what you are trying to say is that Bush made this movie???? That's really reaching there.

to the extent saddam hussein was killing iranians I think the reagan admin did an admirable job, considering the difficulties that came with it...the kurds getting gassed, the uss stark...the vincennes accidental shootdown of the airbus.

All in all it was saddams gig to screw up,and he did.  Big time

As far as the movie is concerned, I have no trouble imagining the horror those innocent people, everyone who was murdered on 9/11, went through.  I dont need to see it on film.  Getting killed has got to be one miserable damned experience, and to die as a result of someone elses suicide is just plain nasty to even think about.  Kill those suicider bastards as fast and as soon as you can.  And if you argue the point that "for every one you kill you make ten more" I say great, gets us to the finish line that much faster...

like good old scop always used to say "kill kill kill"

I'll pass. I don't need any reminders of 9-11. I got Monster Seats at Fenway and that's far more entertaining.

no, i am trying to say the patriotic fever that this movie is meant to inspire is dampened by the horrendous failure of the administration to find and try bin laden.  For this evildoer to sprout up every so often and taunt the US while we are cluster forking around in Iraq, to me, is an outrage.  But thats just the way I feel.
