Unlike MGD, I did not get to land my 2 kills - as Filth stated, I ditched in the channel, but a passing E-boat picked up the crew of the two surviving bombers.

I was trying desperately to nurse the bombers back on minimum fuel, but the JG54 "traitor" N7 kept making a nuisance of himself (mercifully sans hizookas).  I ran out of ammo in the belly guns, which forced me to the deck to defend myself with the two dorsal guns.  I have to believe maintaining altitude could have just been enough to make it all the way back . . .

But its all good.  N7 paid for his treachery!

Correction ..yes..it was JG54 that came to help..not JG44, my mistake.

Great mission guys
Thought i was in on the 88's but ended up working my Saitek to death midway over the channel dodging 109s, was lucky to scrape out of that one.
Got nearer the coast and there was calls coming in about various 109s inb and folks dragging them to such and such, was just starting to draw breadth and think about rearming when a 109 comes in high 6, hard break turn and he was off to pester somebody else. Landed shortly without incident.
How long combat time did the 109s get over the UK ? I'm curious as I know it was a long flight.

20 Minutes IIRC. (Thats for the Me 109E without drop tank)

Not sure if that was Cruising Flight time or actual Throttle rammed all the way forward, engine screaming, Phasers on KILL, eyes bugged out, butt cheacks clenched, head like a radar dish, feet up on the instrument panel pulling to turn, minimum 100 cuss words per minute, too damn busy to worry about spilt beer, "Full Tilt Boogie Mode" Combat Time.  :D

Hey Treize69,

Do you remember trading shots in a HO with a Spit at alt that kept on going? I got good sprites on you on the pass and a collission message on "White 13" but nothing seemed to be damaged with either of us. I got an Asst. on you later as I was coming into land.

Good work to the guys that set this up, flew the bombers and to the Escort - you guys did your job well. Made 4 passes but never could get close to the bombers.

!  :aok

Maybe it was you I lost the elevator too, I can't recall. I didn't film it.
Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.
