Noticed tonight that when flaps are deployed and that flap on top of the wing comes up as the flaps go down, it is a solid black color if you look at it and bank the plane.

I don't believe its a bug, it happens to me. I think it is an indicator that your flaps are down.

I'll see if there are any sites on it on the internet.

There's also a red peg that sticks out of the wing when the gear is down. As the gear retracts, so does the red peg.

It's a feature, not a bug.

P.S. I don't think it's black. I think that's just the lighting and the angle.

rgr... If you look at the pic, it seems that it looses the skin color

I figured it would still have some sort of color .... not just jet black

Never saw the red peg... where is that at?
