you're a real pilot???

I've always thought about doing that!!!!!  Is it hard to be a pilot?  Expensive?  Scary once you're up in the air in one of those little airplanes?

And according to your myspace you play, and I quote:

" play the one holed flute a little"

Any relation to the one eyed snake?

You should do it. If i can anybody can. I started flying when i was 16 and got my liscense when i was 19.  So it took me three years, my initial goal was to go military, i was nominated to the Naval Academy but my eyesight put a stop to that, besides as much as you people shoot me down that might not have been such a good idea. Is it hard? yes and no theres a lot of study and technical knowledge, but it doesn't seem to be anything more than anybody here doesn't know. Was it scary? I never was realy scared but i did have a few should i realy be doing this moments, when a plane i was flying crashed. I didn't survive. Is it expensive? I haven't flown in six years since i stopped right at the end of my instrument flying course in Houston. It's very expensive somewhere around $70/hour but its very worth it. I'll probably go back and get the rest of my ratings and fly commercial.

And one eyed snake? I don't know what your talking about?!:rofl

Just saw your join date.  I swear that when I read the handle originally it said "LedGen" which I thought to be "LeadGen" of the game who'd been around a while and wanted to rib.

I was kidding around...everybody knows that "real pilots" don't play games like the rest of us.

Ledpig,

The vocals seem very secondary, as if the music was the first layer covering them.  Seems to be your style though, since it's in the songs, if you like it, go for it.  At least you aren't mindlessly screaming into the mic like so many other "metal" bands today.  I don't know if i'd call it metal, per se.  Metal tends to have a louder, faster, sounds.  What you have it's progressive rock I guess you could call it.  The music is very good otherwise, has a good flow.  If you want standard vocals increase the sound and make them stand out more, if you want your own sounds (which you seems to already have) then keep the low droning vocals, it got Nirvana famous:aok

P.S. Crazy Guitar is kind of what I do, link is in my sig.

Keep going, and good luck!

I don't know what you're talking about BigB...I've never flown "too low" in my life.

Ever.

Not once.

If I've said it once I've said it a thousand times...real pilots don't play this game.

Though...I wish I had a way to record my 15 minutes of "anything else you wanna do" time from citation school.  The Encore will:

Climb nicely in an 80º pitch up
Roll
Loop
Split-S
Tail Slide* (see below)

it will not (the sim won't, anyway)
Hammerhead* (see above)
Spin

Also, it is possible to dead stick the thing from 1500' above Aspen to a no-flap landing and stop using less than half the runway.  This is only if your purposefully misuse the emergency braking system and blow the tires.

That'll teach instructors to ever ask me if there is anything else I wanna do :t   I know to take a video camera when I go back to recurrent.

Darkest Hour sounded like the music in the biker hangout in Hitman3.

Theres a recording studio a stones throw from my place, its owned by Rob Halford... I see guys from System, Clutch, Slipknot, Rob Zombie, a dude from Prong... you name it.

Sometimes though its 4 guys from dirt ville living in a van. You can tell whos there by the big money cars and the outrageoutly sexy hot chicks who walk to the near by stop-n-rob for beer.

When they leave the inner door and back open, which they often do during the summer, the noise floods out the door... they're always very cool and usually offer me a beer when I go to remind them the whole block can hear them play.

Heres a tip for any valley metal fans, theres a coffee shop on Magnolia near Vineland called the "Hamsterdam cafe"... you can usually find a popular old time rocker (or five) there smoking his "stogie"... and there are people who actually pick the nasty cigar corpse out of the ash try just because 'he' smoked  it.

I also suggest you check out the "Knitting factory", in Hollywierd, calander... quite a few very big metal bands, and friends, jam there under assumed names. You might buy a $10 ticket for some band you never heard of and see 4 or 5 old time metal dudes rocking the place.

i like it.  Vocal need to be a bit louder.  But the guitar is definatly good.

BTW sailing away reminds me somewhat of smells like teen spirit.
