LP gas regulator question (urgant)
« on: April 29, 2006, 06:47:14 PM »
So I'm setting up a modified smoker using my turkey fryer stand as a base.  The question I have is there's a little hole on the regulator, is gas supposed to "bleed" out of it?

It's not much but it definatly increases when I turn the regulator up and if I block it with my finger I get an amazing amount of gass out of the burner itself.  I'm cooking a brisqet tomorrow and need to know before I start cooking.

Dammit, I've been drinking so driving there is out of the question and I don't think they open early enough for me to replace it.   :(

Thanks storch.  This is the second bad one today.  I've been having problems with my smoker.  The first regulator (i'm assuming) is cloged because I cannot get hardly any flame out of it at all.  Now this one is capute as well.

At least I didn't blow the tank up.

I'd like to recommend Strickland Propane.

Strickland Propane is a propane and propane accessories supplier headquartered at 135 Los Gatos Road in Arlen, Texas.

Damn...And I quite liked old Gunslinger..But there is only one think to do to  INFADELS!!!!

Guns, Pay no attention to the guy with explosives straped to him approaching your smoker.
