Father's Day
« on: June 13, 2006, 04:38:43 PM »
Well our big day is soon gonna be here .

I thought I might give some ideas out that are very nice for the "older" AH'er :D

First if you wear bifocal glasses like I do , treat yourself to a "special" pc only pair of glasses . I have the lower part of the lens precription only on these glasses and it really is much nicer . No longer have to tip my head up to see the screen without a blur .

Last , this chair while pricey is so nice to have one that don't "bottom out" and that adjusts it's back and locks the angle you want down . My feet on the CH pedals have never felt so good till I got this early from daughters and wife . It can here in Michigan in 2 days with the free shipping also and it's was a snap to assemble to boot .

Chime in with any more ideas for us Dad's , our loved ones need good ideas IMO what to get us guys :aok

That would be nice but I was told by my wife that her entire family will be over for fathers day, woo hoo great day for me. :(  Told her I may just have to go to work that day, at the lake with my fishing pole ;)

I have one of them there chairs.

I highly recommend it, especially if you have a bad back.

I suppose I could sell my computer to get the chair. Not so sure it will help my flying much though. :)

Alternatively I might limit my MA flying to a couple of hours of flying a session iso 14-18 hours. Hmmm, I could also get a new CH stick/thr and pedals for well under $300.

Nice chair. Is it through sharper image?

I would like someone to deactivate all WIFE ACK on father's day weekend!  I know that I only get on the game on Friday and/or Saturday nights (late), at least til the WIFE ACK flames me and it starts raining grief.

one can always hope.   ;)

Just a thought.

Yup I have that same chair in the spiffy platinum color. I bought it cause my back was killing me in my old chair.

Father's day?

I don't want anything material.

I get to sleep in....someone else can do the damn chores.

The lawn needs to be mowed.....not my department.

When I open a beer...be advised that somewhere in the world, the sun is over the yardarm.

I will not shop.

There will be no complaints about me being "on my damn game"

I will have priority over the remote. Sorry, no world cup (you can tell I'm from north America, can't ya?) And definitely no Opra.

Please.....just let me chill.
