Poo or Storch, a written tutorial or vid of bomber attack method would be useful. I agree with what you said Poo. I think 10 - 2 O'clock high seems to work. I used that method yesterday and got 3 B24's in 3 passes (a first for me). Anyway, for those who cannot get into the TA when demo's are going on, something posted here would be a great help.

The long distance 6-shot works too if you can get enough grouping to start a fire or take out the gunners un a hurry. :)

And the classic "roller coaster" if you have enough speed and can come in from an angle.

Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.

ok, well i guess i could do something some time :)

for now, a quick tip list:

always attack with speed. the faster you go the more kinetic energy your rounds have = less rounds needed, and it also means that they have a shorter time to bring their gunners to bear and shoot you down. try to attack from high, it reduces the effect of their bullets and increases yours.

attacking from the high forward position is the best way to attack a bomber, especially if you have big guns, as in the 109/190 series. try to aim for the cockpit, it's a one hit kill. try to concentrate hits on a certain part of the plane, wing roots being best.

the most important thing is practise, just get used to attacking bombers with slashing attacks instead of shooting from behind. like treize says, a 'roller coaster' works well if you need to kill lots of bombers in one pass, because you keep speed and you move about a lot, making it hard for the gunners to hit you.

most important thing is speed. never attack bombers if you dont have a big speed advantage. this is the reason its best to attack buffs from above. NEVER attack buffs from the 6, you'll only survive if they're total noobs. try not to come from below either, except if you have a lot of energy.

target, if you want help, just holler, give me a time that you're online and i'll come practise with you:aok

That botome head-on shot (the one coming in from high 11 o'clock), I took out the pilot on the lead buff of the outside box (you can see the cannon shell about to impact) with about a 1/2 second burst. Make your shots count, especially if they have escorts.
