We all know A1 is just a placeholder for the next version, when they put in the SFX.
Then the durn thing is gonna go active, and the airfield will sink into the caldera of the -- CANO!

A question: does AH currently have a "64 field limit" or does it just seem that way?


I like the idea of having a nasty field in the middle of critical strategic importance, but given the dynamics so far, it is as CavemanJ said, a curse.

Even though I hate having A1, I like the fact that it's there.  If we (bishops) get A1, and in doing so throw common sense out the window, and get reamed because of it, then I think it has added to gameplay (admittedly more to the rooks and knights than to bishops, but all the same  ).

I vote for keeping it.

Hmm... I really like it.  I hate climbing to alt.   Nothing less fun IMO.   A1 is the closest thing to an airstart.  See a lot of fights at 10-15K because of it.
