the password on the arenas would be great, because everyone in H2H cant read PRIVATE!!!  for some reason, but it would b nice even if they bumped the limit up to nine, because some hosts go AFK and it leaves one team being screwed over all the time, and also the host should be able to give 1 player "host abilities" (eg. ejecting, changing plane sets, etc...) and the ability to ban players IP, cuz some people have multipul accounts and 1/2 of the accounts are newu's

only subscribers should be allowed to join the room to stop the freeloaders benefitting from it.

Disable H2H and only offer it to paying subscribers. If the freeloaders want to play, they play offline.

you make it so that any room over 8 is only available to subscribers, no freeloaders can host or join one. easy to do, and uses the same bit of code that keeps freeloaders out of the online arenas. all you do is set a parameter for a block to come on for freeloaders that is activated in any room over 8 people :)

great resource H2H, but it isnt used because the rooms are so small. PLEASE HT???????????

I never tried the "Locked" function in h2h, but i think that is the solution to "private".

Yes, yes they did think of that. After having read a lot of the posts on this BBS of the past year & a half or so I would even venture a guess that....are you ready for this Nemeth....That is the very reason they said it! A whole bunch of these guys want the cost to go back up to $6 an hour instead of the more affordable $15 a month just to cut down on the "riff-raff"

I had to do some serious thinking before I decided to shell out $180 a year for a stupid game that only works when it wants too & a large percentage of the players are ego maniac butt-holes. I know I wouldn't shell out $6 an hour for it. My old pappy told me many a year ago that "a product is only worth what some damned fool will pay for it!"

So I guess in that sense, AHII is well worth $6 an hour - more actually.

But; soon as they decided to up the price to get rid of the "riff-raff" there would be someone who thought the cost should be higher to get rid of even more of them. Soon, only Bill Gates, Micheal Bloomberg & Micheal Dell would be in the MA sipping drinks & saying, "it sure is boring in here"

As far as the guys in here are concerned they are paying the bill so you can play H2H for free; & in a way I agree with them. Think of it like this; if none of us paying customers were paying our monthly bill, would Hi Tech Creations have a free H2H for you to play?

In closing; don't try to get any of these fellows to feel for you or your situation because they just aren't going to.

im not trying to get people to feel for me, i dont care how people feel about me, im just saying that there are more less fortinate people out there.  and yes i thank HTC for giving us free H2H, and i kno they wont change the 8 person limit, althou it would be really nice, but id rather have the ability to lock a room, cuz having people join while having squad training, get really annoying after a while

nemeth, what we would like is to see a larger limit on numbers in H2H, but make it so only paying customers can enter those larger rooms. you would still be able to play in the 8 player rooms, but you wouldnt have any access to the larger ones:aok

works well, i dont think it would be too had to code, and it could be a really useful tool for things likie filmmaking, tournaments, things like that.:)

Why would anybody be opposed to it. The way I see it is we are already getting a little ripped off. We pay $15 a month for a game that was intended to be updated every month with new planes and upgrades, and in the 9-10 months Ive been playing I have only seen 1 new vehicle and that upgrade on the spits,190s and  B17, I understand it takes a long time to do all this stuff but as a teenager it takes me twice as long to pay for it. I have to work ALOT  to pay my bills and still have money left over to pay for AH which is pretty much the only thing there is to do around my house unless I feel like picking up pine cones. And that $6 an hour thing, Thats freaken crazy!! I would only be able to play for 3 hrs a month and that is definately not worth it. Why play a game that cost more than you earn at work? People would quickly find a substitute for AH if it was that expensive. So in my mind the 32 player h2h is the very least HT could do for those of us who work our prettythanges off to pay for it :furious

Pooface although you do shoot me down alot I totaly back you up on this one:aok
