What is your definition of an "honorable" war? Wars are ugly and brutal.
There are SOME wars, however that HAD to be fought, and if that's the definition you use of "honorable" you're doing a great disservice to the men who fought the American War for Independence and Civil War, and those who decided to stand up to Napoleon and stop HIS bid for global domination, (including the English) or the Greeks during the Persian Wars who if THEY had fallen, Western Civilization as we know it now very likely would never have existed.
I'll give you that WWII WAS the LAST war of that type, but it sure as hell wasn't the ONLY one.
