The EAA is ok but parts are easy to pick up. Lone wolf should have a spring kit for the .45. If you ever have problems with jams i would go ahead and pay for the springs. I just would love for EAA to import their ipsc line of guns to america. Great for the price and if you drop it in the water its not the end of the world. Have some fun with it practice and after time upgrade but you can always keep your EAA as a hand me down. I bought mine for a glove box gun for the ranch truck. Shot 3 snakes with it lol.

yeah... Dixon is growing by leaps and bounds... almost 18,000 people now... I gotta get out of here when I retire in a few years.   And by "out of here" I mean kalifornia.

Glad it worked out for you. Some folks get a bad example off of the line like Laz did and others get one that works fine. All you can do is try it out and see how it works for you. Later on you can try "tuning it up" a bit and see if you can make it even better.

Handguns are a very personal fit type of thing and not all of them fit most people. If you get ohne that works for you, you can't ask for more until you learn to shoot better than the pistol can.

FX1, thanks for the tips. I'll probably get a Wolff spring in the near future.

Mav, yes I really like the feel of the pistol. It has a nice fit in my meaty hands. Recoil was pleasant, being a weighty pistol helps, and accuracy can probably be improved. Of course I'm the biggest reason for the being able to increase accuracy. I'm looking forward to putting in a lot of trigger time to get better. In the future I may add a 10mm slide on it.

I would agree totaly that handguns... and long guns are a very subjective choice and that what works for one does not for another.   I have been around a lot of firearms for a long time and have developed a sense of what I like.... and that is just it... not what others like but what I like.

In some instances it makes you feel like the guy who walked into the potato house and the hooker laughed and said "who ya think your gonna please with that little thing?"   and he said "me".

Glad you like the gun.  I bought the 22 kit for mine and with a little work it feeds most ammo and is very accurate.
