Lighting bug at night

Ran our first night mission in CE and discovered some lighting anomalies.

Open bomb doors or use any auto pilot setting and the pilot see a "greenish" light.  Other players don't see your plane light up.
Easy in-game again.

at night the lights on your dash really light up and flood the cockpit.  I tend to turn off combat trim on some planes so that "greenish" light isn't there, as in some planes it's a bit much.

As for the bug- it's simular to not seeing the oil streaming across an opponent's canopy when you know he's got an oil hit. Just not modeled I guess. But the black smoke tells the tail on that.

Would be nice to have the opprotunity to have pitch black, no icon, radar only intercepts. Is that even possible?

Heard several stories about someone lighting a cigarette or hitting the wrong switch and giving themselves away. Would be a trip to have to kill your engine to get a fix on a flight of bombers.

Sorry for the hijack. My mind often wanders.

Pitch black is no good.  If you can't even see the instruments in the cockpit you might as well log off unless you know how to tweak the gamma.  Unfair? No.  I have two machines, the old one is unplayable (nearly pitch black) at the default settings but night is beautiful at 100% default settings on my newer machine.  I'm not about to tell someone they have to fly with a totally black screen when I can see everything at gama = 1.  The offline target drones would be more fun to play against.

For some of us oldtimers who remember night in the MA, the chance to see that again in the SEA is worth putting up with the green tint but we'd like it cleaned up to complete the immersion.
Easy in-game again.
