Some of you may be familiar with GROWL(Grand Prix Legends Online Warbirds Racing League)which has been an unqualified success!!! GROWL is comprised of players from Aces High, Warbirds, WWIIOL, and some of us even go as far back as the early Air Warrior days. Members include many current and former CM's, Trainers, and other experienced flight-simmers you may "know".
So, with the success of the "Open-Wheel Division" of GROWL, we have decided to form a "NASCAR 4 Division" for the "redneck"
racing crowd!!! GROWL will have access to a high-speed/high-bandwidth network for three nights a week with two days for Practice and one night for the Race itself. The N4 League is in the process of Testing this week and the actual Season will commence after everything is "sorted-out" and the Driver Roster is complete. Our "GROWL Mission-Statement" is to get every GROWL member "up-to-speed" as much as possible as fast as possible. We emphasize helping each other out, keep no secrets, tolerate no cheating/hacks, practice fair-play while realising that "racing incidents" DO happen through driver-error and inexperience. We shrug those incidents off. Patience is the key-word at GROWL.
GROWL accepts ONLY Online WWII Combat Sim Players for a reason. Because they belong to a long-established, mature Community which is used to certain standards of conduct and performance, we can count on a relaxed but serious atmosphere with competitors who can take it as well as dish it out. We like to "simulate" warfare, we like to win, but we like the Camaraderie and the sheer fun of it all is our primary goal!!!If you think Online Air Combat is "exciting", just wait until you have driven in a GROWL Event!!!
