I rented the movie lastnight and decided to watch it today. Im glad I watched it alone because when it got to the part where the kids are poisoned I was ballin.  
 
   PS The mother reminded me of Frau Clinton and made it easier to despise her.

Great movie..!

But the part where the kids where poisoned was false...Mr Propaganda minister wanted to scoot the kids out to safety but the Mrs wanted to show her loyalty to de Furher by murdering her own children.

i wish they had showed that.

Could you clarify?  I've not seen the movie, but filth says the kids were poisoned, you say that it was false, yet also say that Mrs. Goebel's murdered her own?

Joseph Goebbels didn't want to bring his wife and children to the bunker, this was Magda's descision. She, along with her children, were offered several times to be taken out of Berlin and away from the Soviets.

Of course the children were poisoned, the Soviets found their corpse's still in bed when they captured the bunker.

The impression so got by watching the movie was that Joseph brought his family to the bunker to be child but was too much of a coward to do it himslef and left it up to Magda.

All 6 kids' names started with the letter H, not by accident. Magda Goebbels delighted in being portrayed as the ideal Nazi-era wife and mother. The admiration was mutual too - Hitler himself made Goebbels give up his girly-girl on the side.

Apparently, when they entered the bunker, the Soviets found bruises on the eldest child, which led them to believe she was aware of what was happening and had struggled to escape.

Guido Knopp made a series called "Hitler's Women". Since they were 1-hour shows, they came in for criticism as being too shallow, as do a lot of his programs. However, they turn up from time to time on the Discovery Channel and are well worth a look. The program on Frau Goebbels is especially chilling.
