Long time no see guys. I'm calling BS. I'm on my 14th year of active service in the Army. The Army doesn't work like that. You just don't "go active" at the end of AIT. You would have to go back to your guard unit and get a release from them before you enlisted in active duty. You also don't then just choose to leave active duty and go back to the guard. You either serve out your enlistment, or you get kicked out.

Sorry, I'm not buying it.

The way you nailed some small details but overlooked some big ones (like Raubvogel pointed out) makes me think you're borrowing somebody else's story. What the hell, though.  It's just the internet.

I'll say this, though: some of you guys have really, really big hearts.

Yes they do. They ARE the hero's in this thread.. of THAT there is no doubt.

Isnt this the same guy who said he owned a 3/4 scale P-51, and a number other stories?

If so there just might be the SLIGHT possibility he's lying.

P.S: His first posts sounds like a story CNN would definetly report. Has anyone seen anything.

Men fear thought as they fear nothing else on earth -- more than ruin -- more even than death.... Thought is subversive and revolutionary, destructive and terrible, thought is merciless to privilege, established institutions, and comfortable habit. ... Bertrand Russell
