I've uploaded my first Avenger skin to the AH Skin Department.

This aircraft from 711 Squadron was originally painted with the Fleet Air Arm's standard extra dark sea grey/slate grey/sky scheme. Late in the war the squadron was attached to RAF Coastal Command and used to drop mines at night near U boat bases in the Bay of Biscay. For this job it was painted white underneath and black on the top front of the wings and nose. I've tried to make the older camo look more worn than the newer black and white areas.

As always, any constructive criticism is most welcome.

I like the detail on the top of the wing. Very nice with the strips/plates and all.

Excellent work Greebo, it looks wonderful.  Good choice too.

Thanks guys, I'm glad you like it.

There are quite a few different schemes that haven't been done yet for the TBM, that was the main thing that attracted me to doing it. I've just found an RNZAF one in the two tone blue and white scheme. There is also a USN night intruder, which was two tone blue but dark blue beneath. Plus a FAA Pacific scheme, that would be useful for scenarios. The USN Atlantic grey and white scheme should look good. Then there's the all dark blue USN scheme, if I can find a nice one that works with the mirroring.

Should keep me busy for a while. :)
