This past Monday my grandfather passed away at the age of 80.

Cyril Cooper served in the Marines on Guadalcanal and Okinawa, attaining the rank of staff sergeant.

To be honest, that matters not a whit to me... I'll miss him.

If the Army or the Navy ever look on heaven's scenes, they will find the streets are guarded by United States Marines

The 'Canal and Okinawa. Well, he's certainly already paid his dues.

<S> to him Ispar. Another one of the "greatest generation" Gone West.
