Guiness rules, but not every pint of Guiness is the same.  Only the really good old school Irish bars here have good Guiness, everywhere else it's flat and bland (still better than light-colored pisswater, though).  I try to get my friends to drink it, but they hate it lol.  They think Miller Lite is a good beer.  LOL.

I understand that the export (slightly stronger) Guinness doesn't have water from the River Liffey and is inferior to the genuine Guinness.  Luckily my local Irish bar have their's delivered straight from Ireland.

Yeah it's a joke. Belgians make some of the worlds best beers. Ireland makes two mediocre beers. And I've never had a belgian beer that wasn't better than both of them.

Guinness gets overrated I think because most people compare it to canned rice malt beverage instead of other stouts.

My personal favorite nonmicrobreweds are weihenstephaner premium, old peculier, samual smith's lager, and the Chimays.

That's true when it comes to taste everybody has a different opinion and none are wrong, just some are more right than others.

Yes by pointing out the futility of debating matters of subjective taste he's unwrapped an epiphany for all of us.

I don't drink a lot of beer, and wouldn't pretent to speak to what is a good beer versus bad, and truthfully it is too subjective to declare one the best, but I never really liked Guiness.

Never liked Buttwiper, I mean budwieser but look how many people drink it. And "bud light" is even more weak & popular at that ( I shudder at the thought ) I would rather drink hot milwaukees best.

Imported Mexican beer is popular here, I do like the Dos Equis (XX) amber lager, but I hate Corona.  Taste; it is a matter of taste.
