WWII ammo collection where to start?
« on: May 27, 2006, 09:42:57 AM »
Maybe some of you might know.

I want to start a small collection of WWII shells. 7.62, 30cal, 50cal, 20mm, 30mm, 37mm, etc from the major countries of WWII. I remember the collection Pyro had in his office and would like to start my own. Where would I start? Anyone know where I can purchase old WWII ammo?

Thanks in advance. :)

Gun/Military show might be a good start. Also, go find yourself a copy of the Shotugun News. It has alot of WW2 goodies in it. WalMarts have it or Barnes and Noble.

Edit: If they dont carry it in Cali Ill bring a copy to the con for you. Also check this website for stuff   http://www.ima-usa.com

Do a search on E-Bay as well.  I know they have alot of old WWII stuff on there.  I have got a few nice knives from Germany and Italy off of there.  Just a thought...

I bought a lot of my stuff at EBay.Change your search around for best results.

Here's a start, happy hunting,.

I had the direct ebay link for you, but BBS won't paste full link, it shortens it, then it doesn't work, i tried just copying it as words, not url, but stupid BBS puts url tags ion it then shortens it again, CRAP I SAY !!!

So after 20 minutes trying everything, you'll have to settle for Ebay search path, here it is. Lotsa stuff there.
