The AH Skin Department. This aircraft is from VT(N)-90, a night intruder squadron operating over Japan from USS Enterprise in 1945. This squadron stripped the rear guns and other equipment from their planes, added extra fuel tanks and flew with a pilot and two radar operators. Until a Kamikaze ended the Enterprise's tour in May, VT(N)-90 accounted for two ships and five aircraft at night.
The scheme is the mid war sea blue/intermediate blue/white one, but with the lower white areas overpainted in sea blue. This is handy for the AH TBM skin, as the tailplane mirroring does not matter. The colours are from Simmer's Paintshop and I found some extra colour scheme info at
this site.
