Was good fun.  74 people involved.  Lots of 38s, lots of good fights and my usual falling in pieces into the jungle below :)

CC, was good fun.. found some fights which is odd for me in these things... usually end up flying for hours on end w/out finding anyone to shoot at.  Went round and round with a few before I collided with I think a Ki84 that I was looping with and had to limp home.

I blame mir.

Had a really good turnout, got to fly with some good P-38 pilots. Didn't score a kill, but lived. Best of all, flew 80th FS HeadHunters colors in honor of my friend Ken Lloyd, of the 80th FS, who is fighting his last great fight, with terminal pulmonary fibrosis. A big to everyone. I'm drinking a beer or two in honor of Ken.

ACK ACK you live in LA?
When I die bury me in a P38.

I watch day after day, week after week, tour after tour, the Bishops and Rooks take bases and win maps while the Knights stand there with their thumbs stuck in their butts. It's just pathetic!

I thought it was tonight 6/1?   I havent done one of these yet and this one would have been perfect, I like the P-38 and the KI-84 so either would have been ok by me.

So did Auto get spanked? :t

I hadn't flown one of these in a while. Was a lot of fun flying planes that were pretty evenly matched.

Was a good snapshot as usual, 75 pilots is  a lot.38's did a poor job of fighter coverage, they let us right in on the bombers, prolly explains why we whipped them. And the majority of the pilots flying Axis were Kids.

1st   F3 was disabled for buffs at the start  and they got all strung out because of it.  Was kinda like herding cats at that point.

2nd Buff commander lost vox this exacerbated buffs flying all over the place.
So fighters also got scattered trying to cover.

3rd I think there was a griefer in the mix. After checking the log matell shot down not 1.. not 2... but yes folks all 3 of the buff commanders B24s.
Something rotten in Denmark me thinks. No offence to the people from Denmark.:D

And since auto flies in da shade no idea how he did.

This must have been your first snapshot in the buffs for the F3 mode is always disabled.

Don't even go there for i was flying with LTOWN the entire event.I like LTOWN he has a lot of spirit and cry's like no other.Last night was his best performance, he was complaining about the sun being too bright and even said something too the effect of flying too Texas to choke the people at Hi-tech who made the sun that bright.

I heard LTOWN last night, all the cursing was rediculous..  Doesn't take a genius to figure out that if one turns 45 degrees to any direction the sun won't be a bother anymore.

Unless I was misinformed 68KO turned it on after he found out it was off.

Gee whats easier  A: voice commands or B: scrolling text.

What has this to do with the possible fragging of the buff commander. His entire box was shot down by mattel. Care to make a relevant comment or can't you understand the TEXT?

It's so much cooler in the shade   :aok :rofl

And its so dark you evidently cant see out of it.

So, who won?  I was going to try to actually make this one, but then forgot.
