Using a mouse as a flight controller now requires you to hold down the left mouse button to make control inputs.

That is VERY inconvenient. I've always enjoyed being able to fly with mouse and not have to worry about it being too technical. Now it sounds like I may have to consider getting a joystick...

Always flown with mouse, too many years down the line now flying with mouse, have a stick but just cant get the hang of it.

How the hell are mousers gonna fly holding down button 1, using the wheel as a throttle and button 2 to fire at once???

Tried it offline and just cant do it.

And before everyone bangs on about using a stick, s*d off, each to their own.

Any others mousers had any joy?

Smiggy.

What the hell are you guys doing playing AH without a joystick?

Mine cost me $19, and I got it back in 2001.

It is possible to fly using a mouse u know.

I find it easier with a mouse than a stick, find it clumsy and uncomfortable compared to mouse, but that's just my eeling and opinion.

Some of the "mouse drivers" are quite good at it too!

Cost has nothing to do with it, personal preference thats all.
Each to their own.
