Hi folks,
Anybody got any ideas on what I can do to free up some more space on my C drive. My PC is about 5 years old, Windows XP Home Ed, 2002, service pack 2, and I try to keep up with "critical updates."
One HD with C and D logical partition.
C drive of 9.75GB total size and currently about 717MB free. I'd like to have more free if possible.
When given the choice, I've always installed programs on the D drive - which is 64GB, and it has 40GB free.
I emptied Temp folders, uninstalled unused programs, deleted unused folders, and have lowered my XP "Restore" setting to 300MB which doesn't give you a lot of safety margin – about three restore points.
I've checked my .pst files for Outlook and they are not a problem.
Just cleared a Firewall log that freed up about 60MB.
Anybody out there got suggestions?
Thanks and best regards.
