Key Map Function Issue
« on: June 01, 2006, 08:21:27 PM »
I need to be able to program my Key Map Function Fire all to both N and B in order for my set up to work properly. Before this last patch this was possible  Now I am permitted to choose either N or B to be mapped as Fire Primary.

I understand that there is

Fire both                  = N
Fire primary              = F
Fire secondary          = B

But I need it to be

Fire both                   = N,B
Fire primary               = F
Fire secondary          = None

Perhaps a fire both rather than (fire all) option would solve this issue?

Am I doing something wrong???

There are several people in my squad having the same issue that have the same setup.

What time yours

We should not have to change anything.  For the time for AH to set and make this program patch they should have taken the time to test before sending it out.
For the most of us, our time is limited and to take that time to FIGURE out what should not have changed is a waste.

All I want is for HI TEC to change it back so I may map 2 keys to 1 function in the global settings munue of Key Map settings menu.

Excuse me but where were you the last two weeks while this was available as a beta test?  Where was your input then?  :p :lol

I may be in the same boat as I have three input devices to get working together but if it turns out to be a chore, I won't complaine because I know I had my chance to make it smoother and didn't do anything about it.
Easy in-game again.

All I want is for HI TEC to change it back so I may map 2 keys to 1 function in the global settings menu of Key Map settings menu.  Along the same line...weapons select must now be re-programmed each time you switch from an airplane to a GV....

Can we just CHANGE IT BACK

We can do without the eye-candy if it just works.

The solutions may be simple if you use a toy joy stick with minimal functions.

But for other more complex setups this is a big step backwards.

Chuck I feel you man.

The issue we are having is that you may no longer map both the N and the B key to fire all-- it is either one or the other. I am sooooo frustrated too.  The other issue you will have is that when you chage from a GV to airplane and back you will need to re-program your wepons select between select primary and select secondary.

There is no Help for those of us with CH setup until they (HI TEC) fix the problem.

See Its not just me
