Nice clip from CNN here.

Activists also told the city council that they were considering a protest to disrupt a memorial parade for slain police officers scheduled for May 18. Police officials said they hoped such a protest would not happen.

Cincinnati Police Chief Tom Streicher said the department had received several threatening calls since the fatal shooting, including one that threatened to kill "one police officer every month until there is justice."
This backwards justice thinking is starting to wear thin on me.  These are the very same people the police are protecting.  I honestly don't see why we have the police anymore if they cannot enforce protection.  Sorry that he died, well to be honest I have no sympathy for any criminal.

And you wonder why sometimes the police or paramedics are afraid to go in certain neighborhoods?  And then they cry we need protection, yet they would be the first to jump on that wagon to harrass the local law enforcement.  IMO fu*k em, let them organize a neighborhood watch program

Sorry but it is time to give the power back to the police, and let them do their job.  As it is now I feel the screening process does not weed out a lot of the cops that should not be on the force.  My .02$ worth

You know we can engage in endless debate about these kinds of issues, but I have an idea. If you have the time and resources I suggest a trip to Cincinnati.

Paint your face black, wear a hooded sweatshirt and hang out on a street corner somewhere downtown at 1:00 AM in the morning.

When a cruiser comes by accidentally drop your wallet.

I dare you to pick it up again!
