It's a tv show, pure entertainment, if it were not you would not have teams of 6 or 7 guys chasing a $10,000 skip, they would starve to death.

You want something closer to the truth, watch that Steve McQueen movie about Ralph Thorson, much more acurate, one or two guys is the norm, thats what gives it pucker factor.

BGB, try talking to a local. The man is a joke. Period. He got a TV show because people like to watch TV with people like him on it. Why do you think Jerry Springer was so popular?

The rumor going round is, he only catches the ones on his show 'cause he called up their momma's house and left em a message that if they will tell him where to come, he'll guarantee to put their face on national TV.

Heck, it worked for Jerry. It works for Dog.

Personally, its entertaining IMO, except for when he starts preaching. I say leave the man alone and let him do his thing. Eventually people will get tired of it.

Several years ago (ok, maybe ten) I was buying some used HVAC repair equipment from this guy who was selling it because he was going into the business of... yes, bounty hunting. Apparently, he was part of a crew who track down those guys. He loved talking about it, I could tell.

I sure wouldn't want that job. No way. Recently (ok...about two years ago), some bounty hunters went into a home and shot up the place. Turns out... oh my... whoops, wrong home. Some states banned bounty hunting because it tends to attract persons that are just as ornery as criminals.

Dogg the bounty hunter (back on topic), is pretty funny. I have watched the show on several occasions. It's kind of like the Anna Nicole Smith show, where I am not sure its meant to be, but it's pretty funny.
