I was actually thinking the same thing. If native Americans started complaining that flying the US flag was disrespectful to their fallen ancestors would we? I would hope not.

If the 49rs adopted a Red White and Blue color sceme similar to that of the stars and stripes would it be banned from Raiders Bars?

I think you are way over reacting to a news article that is clearly written with extreme bias and only half truths spun to fit the writer's agenda.

I have noticed that bias and agenda somtimes lead to partial turths, hence the post. In addition, I wouldn't put it past the world in today's current times but would be eaqually happy if you were correct.

It already has! The World Cup was hosted by the US in 1994. I followed it with interest. I have to say that it was well run. As a spectator, I had only two criticisms in particular. 1) The organisers' objections to the presence of managers on the sidelines, eg. Jack Charlton, who was only anxious that his players received enough drinking water during the games. It has to be remembered that football is not normally played in 90° heat! 2) The grass was not mown short enough, in some cases.

I'm glad the US was able to host the World Cup in 1994. Kinda makes up for the fiasco of the "World" Series that same year!

^^ Get help. The story is bogus. Al-Muhajiroun has not issued any threats. A few businesses and organisations have for their own reasons limited the display of England flags over the world-cup period. The article in question is an Israeli propaganda sheet misrepresenting a hysterical piece in The Sun, which is a newspaper read by morons.

^^ That's because it is the crusader flag more or less. English forces adopted it as their symbol during their time in the middle east and it became the offical flag of england in 1277, a few years into the reign of the crusader king Edward I.
