Poss convergence issue
« on: June 03, 2006, 02:51:13 PM »
Convergence on my Tiff is set for both pairs at d400.

Situation -
Creep up on another Tiff, at d400 I fire, see multiple strikes, he dives away.

Talked to him on CH200 : at my convergence range I took off his LEFT flap and RIGHT aileron. Thats probably a spread of about 16ft at my guns convergence setting!!!!!!

Strangely enough I am nailing people at d800 without a problem.

Some sort of net lag issue?  Which part of the AH system determines where your hits are; your front end?

Have you tested your convergence with the ".target 400" command?

Maybe since the distances don't show 300 or 500, you were closer to 200 or 600 rather than 400 yards. Just a thought. It would be nice if the icon showed ranges in 100 yard increments, actually.
