Mirrors, good idea that will give me one more part to get shot off my plane. I can see the "Ctrl d" report now, mirror .

why not take it a step further and have the rendering distance for the mirror as a slider just like the other object sliders.

not only that ... you could decrease structure detail in mirrior to only show a silhouette.  It doesn't need to have the detail of the rest of the game.  But should certainly be an option if implemented.

anyone will probably tell you the only thing a mirror is good for is looks. They are basicly useless in all other aspects of flight in a FLIGHT sim. The screen is far too small and on a computer game, hitting the hat and looking back is just as good. They'd be nice to have, but only for added looks.

Go pick up a flight sim that has mirros in it. Lockon, IL2 and you'll understand what I'm saying.

I know exactly what your saying. When I flew CFS2 you could overlay windows and set the view in that window. Creating a small window like a rear view mirror was just about useless. By the time you saw anything in the mirror it was usually to late.
