To all UK AHers past and present - please welcome Mietla, who is visiting from the USA. I have just spoken with him on the phone, and have arranged a meeting to take place this Tuesday evening the 6th of June, starting at around 6pm. I propose to meet Mietla near where he is staying at Waterloo. We will then walk across the river using the Hungerford footbridge, whereupon we shall find ourselves in the Charing Cross area, and not too far from Covent Garden.
Mietla has expressed an interest in consuming alcohol -
- so I thought we could go to one of the well known taverns in Covent Garden such as
the Marquess of Anglesey, or
The Globe, which is right next to the Marquess. There's also
The Nag's Head which is very popular.
If any of you London boys would like to come along, post back! As we have a foreign visitor, it would be nice to get a few people to turn up.
We can eat later, in the CG area. But remember - London is expensive.
