Basically you need to listen to you stall buzz and more importantly feel your planes reactions/responsiveness to input... pushing your plane to its limits will mean youre going to hear that buzz a lot. The buffet and shaking on the other hand mean youve already pushed it OVER the line - your plane is less responsive to control surface input if not already out of control. Now while there are some moments where you might actually WANT that to happen its a thing that generally should be avoided.
