This might seem like a stupid question -- but how can you tell it's got white leading edges?

EDIT This isn't the one you showed a crashed picture of, is it? I think the pic of the crash had a light-colored rudder. Did you change profiles or were there 2 rudders on the plane?

Different profile shows white leading edges, hard to tell from pic, the profile I linked to is just a basic color, decal placement guide.

looks good kev. seems our spitty has a smaller air intake, take it the m5 in the photo is more powerfull than ours? or is it just the shot angle

Bat, if you are refering to the "chin" intake, that is the tropical air filter. Those would be Spit Vb "Trop". All Spits in North Africa had them to keep sand out of the engine.
