Is this a good firewall for home office use? Its kinda cheap, but will it still do the job better than the one buildt in to the average wifi router and other software solutions?

Well, dunno about the first one. My personal opinion on personal firewalls is they're a waste of time - good AV/Antispyware/Ad blocking plus an up to date OS will do a better job. And that first one doesn't look like much more than that.

The second one is getting better. However I dunno what the price is but it looks very similar in basic spec's to a Sonicwall TZ150 (http://www.sonicwall.com/totalsecure/ts10.html) . I suspect its very close - I'm converting a small reseller over from Zywall to Sonicwall here at the moment, they've outgrown Zywall and are looking for the next step up. The entry level product was very close in $$$.

The TZ150/Totalsecure 10 is gonna give you a good firewall, plus gateway AV, antispyware, IPS, Content Filtering (believe it or not its qutie handy), plus 1 year of 8x5 support and ViewPoint. ViewPoint is the logging software which produces reports (can be automated) and really lets you know whats happening.

Basically, this baby firewall has 90% of the security services I sell in my enterprise boxes (with lower throughput though ).

Nah, real easy. Theres two OS's, Standard... which is firewalls for dummy's level, and Enhanced which is the extreme sports version . The TZ150 only ships with Standard. Theres a demo of the enhanced OS here https://sonicos-enhanced.demo.sonicwall.com/   , standard looks similar it just lacks the complex routing/nat/firewall zoning policies.

edit: plus you can ask me any hard questions :)
