Maybe in another scenario. But this one is based on the US plan, which did not include the Soviets. We don't want a North/South Japan like North/South Korea.

The needs of the many out weigh the needs of the few.....

I am all for moving the scenarios to a 6-8pm EST start time, when you truly consider the statement above it is the fair thing to do.

It would be nice to have it in the evening(ET). It is summer afterall, and having it mid-day kinda ruins the rest of the weekend as far as doing anything. Summer weekends are too few.

Back from Vacation, so I'll chime in a bit more ;)

EagleEyes, glad to see you so into this, great to have another addict among us.

Here, take a look at Operation Downfall Information  and see if that get's you going :)

Flossy makes a great point that the events time didn't arrive by accident, and has evolved over the years.  To that point, the bulk of the scenarios over the years Have been at 3pm EST and In My Humble Opinion that has excluded some people rather consistantly.

It's not Fair to Everyone no matter what time slot is used, so I am going to rotate the times around slightly so that people get a break once in a while.  It might be too early or late for one time zone, but it can't be beneficial to Only a few zones every time. That is the real unfairness.

The Real Key will be attendance.  an FSO runs at 8pm PST, that's 11pm EST and it is starting to pull more players than Scenarios lol

I have No Problem whatsoever running these scenarios as Multiple Events.  If there was a group that wanted to run a duplicate sceanrio at 4am EST to cover our European friends then I would support that 100%.   An event could be designed to run Twice in one day, with a 12 hour difference, and No One would miss out on a reasonable time slot.  This, of course, needs people to step up and not only Run them, but Attend in a large enough number to justify the effort.

Being Summer, I am most likely going to run Operation Downfall at 8 or 9 EST.  Stalins was ran early, most of the past events have ran early so I'm going to try this and see if attendance perks up over Stalin levels.  The event, with as many Fleets that are available, and the large opportunity for some massive fights, really needs more than 250 people to pull off, so this event needs to fill the slot where Most players are Playing.

The Next Event?  We'll see, like I said, don't want to leave anyone out so it might be 3AM PST  :)

I just downloaded the Japan terrain from the SEA.  A brief test flight from a CV showed a problem with the terrain cell for the Rook HQ (Tokyo).   The structures (buildings, bridges, ships, etc.) are there but the ground features are missing.  It appears that you can't see anything at elevation 0 (I didn't actually check the elevation but that's what it looked like from 3000'); no ground or water.  It's just a big white square area which contains the port and city structures.

Looking into it, but I think you just need to let the textures load.

Better not download it yet, there is an error with custom object's textures.
