Flew A1 to Tokyo to Niigata.  Looked good.  No main gun turrets on the war ships at Tokyo but maybe there's a reason for that.   Second flight A37, out over the bay and then land A38 also looked good.  Large airports seemed to have dirt runways.  Is that correct?

Over all, an impressive job of scenery design.  :^)

Primary Airfields are paved, secondary ones were made as dirt.

Primary Paved airfields "might" have a specific higher end aircraft assigned to it, but that's something for Recon to figure out ;)

Main airfields are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. These are based on the actual airfields in Japan at the end of the war. other main fields are P59, V123 and P86. P59 and V123 are actually Tokyo, P86 is Nagasaki. The remaining port is placed where Hiroshima would have been, which will appear in the terrain at a later time (but not in time for this scenario).

I noticed that the arena was using the old calibration mode; ie, it asked to set altitude by clicking on target on map and to keep crosshairs on a ground target to set speed.  Also, if you bail out, you cannot exit flight until you actually hit the ground.

1. This hasnt happened yet right?

2. Individuals can sign up right?

3. What days, and what time is that GMT?

4. How can i practice with the old calibration mode?
