can you wait a month for the new intel conroe cpu release ? Its really supposed to be a major increase from anything intel has right now . Seeings as you have to go with intel , even if the conroe isnt what you want , prices on everything else are going to drop like a brick . From what ive seen its july 23rd for release . Now is a really really bad time to do an upgrade , i would wait for a conroe cpu , the prices ive seen range from the very highend chips around a grand to the midrange conroe around 225. Being an amd guy i havent looked at alot of benchmarks , but im sure the mid range conroe is prolly gunna be hard to beat .
