The guy took it decently though and was able to argue halfway reasonably... there was an anti-abortion author on there a few weeks ago (Indian guy I think) that got so backed into a corner that Stewart had to abandon his line of questioning and start lobbing softballs to keep the author from embarrassing himself.

Not a bad episode. I was surprised to hear Bennett say that gay marriage is a done deal in this country. It's going to happen.

The guy's a comedian.  It's for laughs.

And I'd call him a bit more centrist, than anything else.  Little of this, little of that...depending on the issue.
