what does me saying i thought you were a H2H guy have to do with neutrino...that was way before neutrino poped up in my life

Running to ack is a valid tactic now?  I mean valid enough to whine about when someone calls you on it??

I believe the correct response was "Who is Lan784?" Why are you getting so defensive epic?

HOing: Preferably avoidable, especially because I can't hit squat so always lose.

BnZ: Just ignore the Spixteen whiners who are mad because you won't bring your poorer-turning plane into their circle of death, and fly YOUR plane the way it needs to be flown,

Roping: Are we talking the usual LA Ho'n'Go, running for five sectors then turning around when the guy chasing you gives up, or duping a guy with low E into following you through the vertical and killing him when he hangs himself on his prop?

The former IS annoying as all hell and anyone who practices that cheeseball "tactic" deserves the Ch200 drubbing. The latter, however IS perfectly viable and is part of energy fighting, so see my remarks on BnZ.

Running into the Ack: If you're one guy against a horde then YES it's viable, but in 1vs1 fighting there is NO reason to drag a guy into the field ack or through a gauntlet of Ostie's and M16s.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

In the 1vs1 situation where the enemy trys to run to acks......I'll follow you in and kill you....if you try dragging me through a gauntlet of gv's I'll still follow you in 9 times out of 10 and kill you before the gv's can get me. :D

A certain F6F dove out from a co-alt fight, right into cv acks, I caught him just at the edge of the acks range and killed him.....I got away with a couple hits on my plane. :D

*edit* Same guy just tryed that earlier today, only this time he was in an La-7 and I was in a Tempest, and he ran for an airfield this time......he still died. :D

In the end you should be thankful for those players like us who switch to try and help keep things even because our willingness to do so, helps a more selfish, I want it my way player, get to fly his latewar uber ride.

Quit being such a sissy. It's an aerial combat game- you're supposed to fight.

If you seriously think a HO is a viable tactic, a good idea, then you are simply displaying inexperience. Suggest you talk with one of the trainers about merging and the advantages of a lead turn....

The only time you may never hear a whine from someone, is when both are in the same plane, same alt, and both turn back on the merge rather than going vertical. From there fight until one is dead. But even then you will likely hear the "Whats your plane made out of...I hit you 1000 times!"
Or  "You're warpy!"

Any other way and someone will attribute their death to the plane you were in, or the style you used.

Simaril...actually in this game, with a tungsten LA7, its about the best tactic with that plane. Atleast it must be, its all I ever seen done with it.

The entertainment value of the whine is a valid reason.

Although I have found a solution to all that is annoying about AH: apathy. Load up your favorite MP3 player, lower the AH volume, rock out, shoot red cartoons, pay little attention to the war or whines, then log off. I can spend an entire AH session being the uber un cool tactic master... then log off having not paid enough attention to know the difference. I had fun, which is all I care about.

Who, other than the French, gives a rats sphincter if the enemy doesn't like you, they are after-all... the enemy, to be crushed as unfairly as possible with extreme prejudice & laugter.
