Bomber Issue
« on: June 13, 2006, 02:28:37 PM »
Since the update, I do not get proper response from rudder pedals when in f3 view in buffs.  That is, I can't steer using rudder pedals without breaking autopilot lock, if I'm in the outside view.

Pedals work fine, just as expected when driving GV's or in fighters.  No problems at all.

Anybody have any ideas, or did I just miss a memo somewhere?

PS...Apologies in advance if this is in the wrong forum.  Now that I look again, maybe H&T would have been better?  Ah, well...sorry!

Nope, works fine for me.  Is it a specific buff or all of them?

Honestly, I only had the problems in B-17's, but really haven't tested the others.

I'll have to try when I get time.  Knowing that I may be the only one, however, is not giving me the warm fuzzies.

I've probably made a newb error somewhere, in resetting after the patch.  Does something have to be mapped, that used to be default, ya think?

If the rudders work in the pilot's seat, and work in GVs, they should work in the gunner's seat of a bomber too.   Try another plane and see.  I rarely fly bombers, and when I do its the A20 or B26, I never fly B17s.

I've had the same problem guning in B-17s Goomba.  I haven't been on enough to notice it in the other bombers.
Easy in-game again.
Since Tour 19 - 2001
