Black Widows are just evil looking. They are the only spider that really puts a chill down my spine whenever I see one.

We have them all over the place in Arizona.

The only good thing about them is that they tend to stay in their webs, and do not just roam around your house or crawl into your bed.

Their webs are extremely strong. They can withstand a full blast from a garden hose nozzle.

I've walked face-first into a few webs.......and they are very noticeable ..... sticky, very stong.  Just creepy to walk through one knowing that you may have wrapped a black widow around your face, encased in it's web.

And they can get pretty big.

Yea, but you can`t get very many steaks from a spider.
