I think he's just a loud mouth or something everytime you say fight P-38 against 109 he's got some intricate rule devisement about how the duel should go down:D

Atleast those 38s can be found and salvaged (if you're rich enough).

Can't say the same for the F6Fs pushed off of carrier decks at the end of the war.

You guys gotta start paying better attention. You have the money, you can build it. Data plate restorations are often done with far less then was in those photos of the 38s.'

Here's an image of a homebuilt P51A that flew for the first time last month. It's accurate right down to the last panel but there is no wreckage or original P51A parts so it is a replica. Thats a real Allison engine under the cowling.

But it's a P51A even without the historical provinence. You have the money, the guys who built this one will build one for you too

You want an F6F and have the cash, you can build one. Of course they've already done the replica 262s, 190s, Ki-43 Oscars, F3F's and so on.
