Here's an image of a homebuilt P51A that flew for the first time last month. It's accurate right down to the last panel but there is no wreckage or original P51A parts so it is a replica. Thats a real Allison engine under the cowling.
But it's a P51A even without the historical provinence. You have the money, the guys who built this one will build one for you too

You want an F6F and have the cash, you can build one. Of course they've already done the replica 262s, 190s, Ki-43 Oscars, F3F's and so on.
