Boy I haven't seen a night where there was so much of it going on. I had a great connect to the server, and had a flat Net Status window.

I was flying a Lancaster to A41 and saw a P51 4.5k up ahead of me. Then he was suddenly 2k ahead of me and coming at me. Then, I hear pings and he is on my 6, tearing me apart and then I am dead. Amazing. I ask if anyone else saw that and someone said they did. Guy showed as ahead of me, then suddenly behind me, then poof, no more me.

Man what a maddening experience. Anyone note some really warpy opponents?

I think there are still some lingering net issues going on that are going to cause this for a couple more weeks. After that, it will be the generic hicups that are still doing it.

Its the bane of an On-Line game... 99% of the connex woes are completely out of your control.

Well,...I did some research,..the MAIN connect was getting a ping flood from about 11:30pm to 1:00am CST.
What I dont understand is why over 99% of all the connections were over the MAIN. The ALT was hardly breathing last night.

I just checked and the ALT has 0 logged into it.

During the time period above, the ALT connection to the Internet was running about 1/3 its capacity.

Trying a connection once and figuring it is not good for you and never trying again really is not the way the Internet works. Always try the other connect when one is acting up. Please.

I saw a funny scence last night. One of our Knights was flying ahead of me on the way to that huge furball at center map.I saw him start firing at nothing, wondering what the heck he was doing, then suddenly a con 3.2k behind him exploded. Must have been those new bomarang bullets.

Heh, actually that's what I did last night Skuzzy. Logged into the alt, which is always more stable for me, and was immediately discod. So, I logged in through the main and lived with the intermittent beacons throughout the night. I was gonna switch back to the alt later, but my feeble memory prevented it...never thought about it while I was on the ground!
