LePaul and others running IIS please look

Check this thread out, some news on IIS once again.  We are running Win BJ with IIS 5.0, seems we are downloading patches all the time to keep complient on the .gov side of the house

And sometimes the vulnerability has been there for 3 years before given out to the public..

Yep, got that emailed to me from Microsoft now that I finally found my way to their listserver.

Now in defense of Microsoft, at these they are *supporting* the hot fixes.  In the past, they haven't.

And for those Linux folks out there, I've had more intrusions/hacks and patching on that OS than NT.  I wish I knew of an OS (asides Commodore 64s?) that weren't such easy targets to hackers.  Linux, Windows NT and all of those have their weaknesses.

(BTW....Im running NT 4/IIS 4 Sturm...I see no gains in going to 2000/IIS 5 yet.)
