What you think about open canopy in case of oil  leakage. I think it will be very usefull (landing, aiming).

Or at least something to remove the oil a little. I meen If you can do it in reel life why not in AH. and why not have it if you get hit in the wing it should show the holes left behind?? that would make great screen shots and make it if you get hit there make the plane react to the damage. I might sound like a morron but what do ya think guys???

Yes, I would like very much to have 200 degree oil in my eyes causing complete blindness instead of the partial blindness caused now.

Helldiver responds to post?  What the chit?  Anyways think about how large most of the cockpits are...even if you could open the canopy, do you really think its realistic to be able to keep your feet on the rudder pedals, hand on stick and throttle and effectively fly the airplane?  Think about any of the 47 series...its just not realistic....not to mention the searing hot oil and hurricane cat5+ winds blowing into your eye ballz =)

Hey, you're getting pretty high tech here... I mean...

Lets remember we live in a world where you can fly an air cooled radial engine plane and get shot in the.... radiator...  :huh
