FWIW, I like the look of the FJ.

What I don't like is the back seat.

I've really been jonesing for a beater 4x4. I've been watching for used Jeeps and Land Cruisers here in town.

thnks sandman, the reviews are helpful.
  im going to look at all three over the next couple weeks. we dont have much for 4wheeln around austin but i get out to west texas now and then .
