joystick scaling
« on: June 19, 2006, 09:07:20 AM »
Hi i just imported my stick settings from AH and the scaling is different from what it used to be.  i would stall a mossie whne pulling the stick back 2/3's of the way.     the stick now has to be pulled all the way back before it will stall.  No matter how i play with the stick scaling the mossie will only stall when the stick is yanked all the way back.

Is there a way for me to change this? and is this normal?

Make sure you are scaling the appropriate axis (it should say "Y Axis   Analog Input Pitch (Elevators)) and ensure stall limiter is not on.

Thrila, a few patches ago we got a new flight model (IIRC changes in the flaps model that affect ALL planes, some more, some less). This was introduced together with the new stall buffet shaking and sound.

It might not be only your stick scaling, it might also be the Mossie not being the old one it used to be.

I've played with the scaling, but i can't seem to get it similar to what it was.  Schatzi you may be right with the flight modelling changes, guess i'll just have to get used to it.

Thanks for the help guys
